Rules and Applications

As a member of the Washington State Farmers Market Association we follow their rules for Market Sales. For a full explanation go to the WSFMA website at www.wafarmersmarkets.com. All items offered must be grown or made by the seller. See below for rules about processed foods.

Licenses and Permits

Vendors are responsible for obtaining all neccessary licenses and permits. A State tax ID number is required for all vendors selling taxable items. You can go to the State website at www.wa.gov/dol for the forms and may be able to do the whole application process electronically. A temporary city license can be arranged through the Market Manager. Contact the City of Ellensburg and the Kittitas County Health Department for information about health permits for food items.

Please download our current application package, and follow the instructions to be considered for inclusion in the Kittitas County Farmers Market. Please contact us prior to submitting the application to insure space is currently available.

Craft Jury Forms

Craft Vendors who need to be juried or are new to the Kittitas County Farmers Market please download the forms and fill them out and then contact the Market Manager to schedule a jury session. Currently, the next scheduled jury sessions are:  June 4th @ 5:30 pm, July 2nd @ 5:30 pm and Aug 6th @ 5:30pm . You must call for an appointment and location. (509)899-3870
